I’ve decided whenever there is an older-ish outfit post I will name it What I wore, WIW!

I attended the Vallydez Spring/Summer’13 event a couple of days ago!  I was in more than 2 minds of dropping by because it was a distance away, though I ended up going to feast my eyes on the new S/S’13 collection and of course to see what the whole fuss was about.  As I reached, I saw many people standing outside, so instantly thought oh-no, not one of those events! All was well, those people were in actual fact socializing/networking and the rest of the party was going down inside. Emerging brands locally, nationally and internationally are stocked within this showroom from Mawi to Reemami.  My favourite items were of course anything to do with Mawi, have you seen their clutches?! OH MY WORD, they’re spectacular. The colours add a pop of life to any outfit, and the embellishment is out of this world.  What I liked about this event, the attendance covered local’s to non-local’s, so a mixture of the world’d greatest, so I like to think. Events to me is an invaluable experience, it give’s me more of a feel about the industry and the people within it – I met a fellow blogger from Kuwait, Ascia, and she was/is an amazing person inside and out, something I would like to see more of.

Unfortunately I didn’t get to snap many of the items on display. The ones I did take are pictured below (from my phone):

  1. Great look! I would have never imagined to put all this great clothing together and the pop of color is super. 🙂 the jewelry is great but I love the stationary!

    • Thank you for your kind words Jeni! The Stationary (notebook) was actually gifted out to guests at the event too xoxo
